CoinPoker 3-Bet Club Explained: Cost, Requirements and Whether It's Worth It

CoinPoker opened the 3-Bet Club to players on 17 August 2026. Unlike most loyalty upgrades, it doesn't scale with volume or deposits. The top rate is unlocked by hitting published thresholds on your own playing statistics — 3-bet percentage, preflop raise ratio and VPIP — measured separately by game type and tracked in the client.

This guide covers what you get, what it costs, exactly what the requirements are, and the arithmetic that decides whether it makes sense for your stakes.

The 3-Bet Club is CoinPoker's premium membership tier. Members get additional rakeback on top of the standard CoinRewards programme, monthly tournament buy-in discounts, activatable boosts, and client cosmetics such as avatars and emojis.

The value sits in three stacking layers: Rewards Boost, Action Multiplier and Power Ups.

Available to every member with no additional conditions. It adds 10% extra rakeback to CoinRewards across the room's games, calculated and paid weekly. Tournaments entered using a buy-in discount are excluded.

A multiplier applied to Rewards Boost, split into two tiers. Each has weekly requirements based on your HUD statistics, and you unlock a tier by meeting one of its targets. Progress is tracked separately for Hold'em, Omaha and Short Deck cash tables, and is visible in the CoinPoker lobby.

• Tier 1 — up to 12.5% extra rakeback
• Tier 2 — up to 15% extra rakeback

Each Power Up is a 12-hour boost to Rewards Boost, starting from 1.5x. Members get six per month, activated manually, one at a time. Once running, a Power Up cannot be paused or cancelled, and unused ones do not carry over to the following month.

Members receive monthly buy-in discounts on a selected list of MTTs. The list rotates at the room's discretion. Note the interaction: tournaments played at a discounted buy-in are excluded from Rewards Boost.

These are the published Action Multiplier thresholds. Meet one of the targets in a given game type to qualify for that week.

There is a second route to the maximum rate. Players with a sufficiently high VPIP receive 15% extra rakeback automatically, without needing to meet the 3-bet or PFR/VPIP targets:

• NLH: VPIP above 40%
• PLO: VPIP above 55%
• Short Deck: VPIP above 60%

The multiplier excludes all tournaments — including series events such as GOPC 2026 — plus heads-up tables, Bomb Pot games and All-In or Fold.

Membership is purchased directly through your wallet in the CoinPoker lobby, on one of two terms:

There is no automatic renewal — you re-purchase manually each period. Membership is tied to the buying account and cannot be transferred to another player.

Because the cost is fixed and the benefit is a percentage, break-even is straightforward. This is the monthly rake you need to generate before the membership pays for itself:

Rake above those figures is profit. Rake below them means the subscription costs more than it returns. Power Ups improve the numbers if you deploy them onto genuinely high-volume sessions, and add nothing if you burn them on a quiet evening.

Under roughly $250 monthly rake: not worth it at any tier, unless the tournament discounts happen to align closely with events you already play.

$250–$600 monthly rake: the genuinely marginal range. It depends on whether you reliably hit a tier, and on whether you use the Power Ups well. Do the sum for your own volume rather than estimating.

Above $1,000 monthly rake: clearly positive if you hit a tier, since the subscription becomes a rounding error against the boost.

Almost certainly not, and this deserves stating plainly because the structure invites the mistake.

Look at what the two routes actually describe. A PFR/VPIP ratio of 85%+ with a 13% 3-bet in NLH is a description of a strong, aggressive regular — many winning players already hit those numbers without adjusting anything. The VPIP override above 40% is the opposite: a loose, action-heavy style that is not a winning approach at most stakes.

The room has effectively built one ladder with two entrances — one for aggressive regulars, one for players who generate action — while declining to reward the passive middle.

If your natural game already qualifies, take the money. If it doesn't, widening your ranges to reach a threshold is usually a losing trade. As a published rule of thumb from the Spin & Go format, a few percentage points of extra rakeback are worth roughly one cEV point — so sacrificing three cEV to capture five percentage points leaves you poorer while feeling clever. Rakeback conditions are a reason to check whether your existing game qualifies, not a reason to change it.

Eligibility is discretionary. CoinPoker sells membership to verified accounts "in good standing," without defining the term. Membership can be cancelled if an account is restricted, comes under security review, or otherwise falls out of favour — worth weighing on a prepaid quarterly plan.

Requirements are weekly; billing is monthly. Miss the thresholds in a given week and you fall back toward the base rate for that week while still having paid for the full month. If your volume is irregular, or you split time across game types, model that before assuming you'll sit at 15% throughout.

Worth noting for context. Several major networks apply undisclosed adjustments that reduce the rake counted toward your rewards as your results improve — GGPoker's Player Value Index being the best-known example, with iPoker's Source-Based Rake working on similar principles. Neither formula is published, to players or affiliates.

The 3-Bet Club inverts both properties: the behaviour it rewards is stated, the thresholds are numeric, and your progress is visible to you. You can reasonably object to paying a subscription for rakeback, or to an operator steering playing style at all. But it is being done in the open, which is a meaningful difference when the alternative is a formula you cannot see or verify.
