It starts today on 8th and lasts until 20th October, providing events with buy-ins ranging from $500 + $40 to $5000 + $180. Most of them, including the $10,000 + $300 Main Event (held 15th-20th October), are NLHE but some are either Omaha Eight or Better or PLO.

The last WPT event, the Borgata Poker Open, was won by Dwyte Pilgrim, beating a field of 1,042 players, a record in WPT history. In the showdown of the heads-up against Kia Mohajeri, Pilgrim flopped a King-high straight, making it easy for him to call Mohajeri’s all-in, who showed Ks 9c for two pairs.
In the next couple of days the poker community shall see whether this stop brings as much excitement as the previous one.
