Surprisingly, favourite Dominik Nitsche soon lost around 2/3 of his stack and pushed the remainder in on a hand of 7 6 . Chipleader Sebastian Homann insta-reraised all-in with K K . The board fell T 4 Q 8 7 , sending Nitsche to the rail.

The relatively short heads-up was eventually played by Homann and Guillaume Cescut, after the elimination of Guillaume de la Gorce and Felix Oberauer. In the last hand, the board read J 4 3 K 2 . Homann holding 9 J and Cescut A 4, the former managed to win the tournament and the €244,000.
