The final table of this year's WPT Championship is all set and ready to go in the Bellagio. Galen Hall still leads, but Scott Seiver is not much behind. Young, Bonyadi, Gargano and Teska all made it to the finals. Andy Frankenberger won the Player of the Year award.
On the 5th day of the WPT Championship $25,500 Main Event, 15 players battled each other until only 6 remained. Galen Hall sat on the biggest stack of chips, 3,438,000. Many big names like Sam el Sayed and Sam Shorr were still in, having the chance to overtake Andy Frankenberger in the Player of the Year leaderboard if they finished 5th or better.

1. Galen Hall - 3,438,000 (143 BB)
2. Sam El Sayed - 2,774,000 (115 BB)
3. Roger Teska - 2,194,000 (91 BB)
4. Scott Seiver - 2,001,000 (83 BB)

6. Steven Kelly - 1,674,000 (69 BB)

14. Will Failla - 393,000 (16 BB)
15. David Williams - 318,000 (13 BB)

Failla, Williams, Kelly, Griffin, Alaei and Medic were eliminated, and Shorr also lost his stack, when he got all-in with {#}Q {#}J, but Justin Young's {#}A {#}Q hand had him beaten. Shorr finished 9th.

Galen Hall
Galen Hall at the table, recently eliminated Sayed in the back

Sayed had the chance to make it to the 5th place, but we soon out, in an unfortunate hand, he pushed his remaining 325,000 chips (25th blind level, 5,000/30,000/60,000) with pocket fives. Galen Hall called with his {#}A {#}T, and saw the shocking flop, which brought all the remaining tens. Sayed made a full house, but was drawing dead to Hall's four of a kind. The {#}4 turn and the {#}Q river didn't do any good. Galen Hall wasn't the only happy person to see this hand, Andy Frankenberger won the WPT Player of the Year by this.

The Final Table formed with the elimination of David Peters.

Galen Hall remained the chipleader, followed by Scott Seiver and Roger Teska. We are quite sure it will be an interesting an action-packed final table, we will get back to you with the results soon!
