Johnny Lodden remained to lead the field of 34 into Day 4 of the EPT Monte Carlo Grand Final 2013 Main Event. 105 players started playing on Day 3 of the €10,600 tournament, led by Lodden with 605,200 in chips and anticipating seeing the bubble burst with 80 in the money places.

It happened on Level 16 (500/2,000/4,000) with a double elimination: renowned pros Taylor Paur and David Vamplew were railed at the same time to split the €16,000 for their 80th finish. 34 players remained to see Day 4, including Lodden, still in the chipleader position with 1,232,000, as well as Steve O'Dwyer, Andrew Pantling, John Juanda, Noah Schwartz, Jason Mercier and Daniel Negreanu, just to pick a few names from the top 10. The average stack is 468,529.
