936 players registered to WSOP 2013 Event #31 $1,500 Pot Limit Omaha Hi-Lo 8 or Better to build a prize pool of $1,263,600. On Day 2, 129 competitors remained to try to run in the money with 117 paying finishes. With names like Jason Mercier, Allen Cunningham, David Sands, Mike Matusow and Andrew Brokos eliminated along the way, a final field of 14 made it to Day 3, led by three times WSOP champion Perry Green (stack: 491,000).

Ultimately, the following Final Table was drawn:

Seat 1: Joao Simao – 336,000
Seat 2: Loni Harwood – 357,000
Seat 3: Gabriel Blumenthal – 512,000
Seat 4: Eric Rodawig – 438,000
Seat 5: Barry Greenstein – 783,000

Seat 8: Jarred Graham – 605,000
Seat 9: Noomis Jones – 126,000

Play continued on Level 23 (12,000/24,000) and the first elimination occurred on the next: Green, aiming for his fourth bracelet and the first since 1979, put all his chips to the middle on the {#}3 {#}7 {#}T flop and Barry Greenstein called.

Greenstein: {#}2 {#}6 {#}8 {#}A
Green: {#}K {#}J {#}Q {#}3

Turn: {#}9
River: {#}5

Green finished 9th.

Joao Simao, Eric Rodawig, Loni Harwood, Gabriel Blumenthal and Noomis Jones followed and, after a lengthy three-handed game, Greenstein bubbled the heads-up: he moved all-in on Jarred Graham’s check-raise on the {#}K {#}Q {#}3 flop and the latter called.

Greenstein: {#}A {#}A {#}6 {#}4
Graham: {#}A {#}Q {#}7 {#}3

Turn: {#}8
River: {#}J

Graham gained a major lead over Marco Johnson for the heads-up:

Jarred Graham – 3,395,000
Marco Johnson – 825,000

The dual was over soon, even though Johnson managed to increase his stack to over 1,000,000 in chips. Graham bet pot on the {#}9 {#}T {#}3 flop and, after hesitating a bit, Johnson called all-in.

Johnson: {#}4 {#}7 {#}3 {#}A
Graham: {#}A {#}K {#}5 {#}K

Turn: {#}K
River: {#}Q

Johnson was out in 2nd place, for the third time in his career at a WSOP tournament and Graham won his first ever golden bracelet.
