The first-ever WSOP Circuit Malta festival is just around the corner, and GGPoker will once again serve as the exclusive online qualification platform. Players can begin their journey to the prestigious live event through free freerolls or satellites starting from just €5.
The inaugural WSOP Circuit Malta festival will take place at Casino Malta in St. Julian's from September 25 to October 5, bringing the iconic Gold Ring series to the Mediterranean island for the first time.
Twelve WSOP Circuit Gold Ring Events
The 11-day festival will feature 12 official WSOP Circuit Gold Ring tournaments, highlighted by the €1,500 Main Event, scheduled to run from September 30 to October 4.
In addition to the ring events, players can expect a full schedule of side tournaments and around-the-clock cash games, making the festival one of the major live poker destinations in Europe this autumn.
Qualify from Free or €5 Satellites
Exclusive online qualifiers begin on August 10, with multiple qualification paths available through GGPoker.
Players can start completely free thanks to dedicated freeroll qualifiers, while those looking to move up the ladder can enter €5 Step Satellites.
Successful players will advance to the weekly €150 WSOP Malta Super Satellites, where €1,500 Main Event packages are awarded.
This structure makes the festival accessible to players of virtually every bankroll.
Gold Ring Winners Also Earn a WSOP Paradise Package
Winning a Gold Ring in Malta comes with an additional reward beyond the championship title.
The winner of each of the 12 official Gold Ring events will also receive a $5,000 WSOP Paradise 2026 package, including tournament entry and accommodation for the prestigious Bahamas festival.
That means a victory in Malta not only secures a coveted WSOP Circuit ring but also a seat at one of the biggest poker festivals of the year.
Malta Strengthens Its Position as a European Poker Hub
Malta has long been one of Europe's premier live poker destinations, regularly hosting major international festivals. Casino Malta has built a strong reputation for organizing high-quality live events, and the arrival of the WSOP Circuit further enhances the island's standing on the global poker calendar.
According to GGPoker CEO Sarne Lightman, Malta is an iconic European poker destination, making it the ideal location for the next WSOP Circuit expansion and a natural fit for exclusive GGPoker online qualifiers.
Casino Malta also expects players from across Europe to attend the inaugural festival, combining world-class poker with one of the Mediterranean's most popular travel destinations.
