As we reported earlier, partypoker will ban all HUDs and other poker tools, including Hold'em Manager and Poker Tracker. Hand histories will no longer be available either.
While it was believed that the changes will go live right after the POWERFEST, now partypoker representative, Collette Stewart confirmed that the changes will go live later than that.
As she wrote on partypoker's Discord server: "There will be further information.released shortly Likely changes will be first weeks /mid-May"
While players won't be able to download hand histories anymore, the site will roll out a new hand replayer. However, no further information has been announced about this.
Players are also expected to be required an alias change, meaning that existing databases won't be useful either for players who used HUDs before.
The new policy at partypoker is a part of their wide strategy which aims at making the games cleaner and fairer.
The site has recently announced banning 277 bots in the past few months and confiscating players for $735,000. They also launched a new team which focuses on making the games cleaner.
partypoker still welcomes new players with $30 worth of SPINS tickets and cash backs up to 60% are available at the site.
Our players can also participate in our exclusive €3,000 race at the site, which offers an extra rakeback of 8-10% on average.
