GGPoker Aims to Send 1K Players to Las Vegas for 2024 WSOP

It’s time again for the World Series of Poker (WSOP), and players are rushing to qualify. Luckily, a few poker rooms, GGPoker chief among them, are once again offering preliminary promotions. GGPoker is determined to break its existing 2023 WSOP record, and players are flocking to earn seats in the Main Event.

The 2024 WSOP started on May 28th and will continue until July 17th. It’s the 55th overall WSOP tournament and offers nearly 700 tables to hopeful players. Everyone is eagerly waiting for this tournament’s Main Event. It’ll take place at the Horseshoe Las Vegas on the Strip from July 16th to 17th.

Last year, the event boasted a record number of participants, numbering 10,043. This year, operators are determined to surpass that figure.

Various operators are capitalising on this legendary event, offering deals, packages and prizes. The one most players are turning to is WSOP’s most significant official partner, GGPoker.

GGPoker is running its iconic Road to Vegas campaign for the fourth year. Since starting in March, the poker room has already qualified almost 700 participants over its dot-com network. Considering the record it hit last year was 744, this is good news for the poker room. 

The brand announced that it aims to send at least 1,000 players to the WSOP in 2024. The room is giving away dozens of weekly WSOP packages, all equal to $12,000. These packages include $1,000 for travel expenses, $1,000 for accommodation, exclusive perks, and, of course, a seat to the Main Event.

GGPoker’s qualifiers are constantly running, and the buy-in is as low as $1.50. It also conducts satellites on its Ontario network and its Asian network, Natural8. ClubGG, the brand’s sweepstakes platform, aims to send at least 100 players to this event. ClubGG awards these qualifiers and packages using its Vegas Crew and Road to Vegas promotions.

Besides GGPoker, WSOP.com is also running dedicated online satellites, which started back in January. However, most of its packages are simply a seat in the event, with no travel or accommodation expenses. 

Still, various WSOP Frenzy cash game promotions, freerolls and direct satellites are available. Most satellites occur on Saturdays and Sundays, though the schedule can vary by state. WSOP.com is aiming to surpass its figure of 2023 when it sent 450 players to the event.
