GGPoker and GTO Wizard Partnership: 31 Accounts Banned Immediately

GGPoker has officially announced its partnership with GTO Wizard, one of the most advanced and widely used GTO (Game Theory Optimal) solvers today. GTO Wizard helps players improve their strategy and learn optimal decision-making, but its real-time use is strictly prohibited, as it provides an unfair advantage.

GTO Wizard is also committed to maintaining fair play, recognizing that the future of online poker depends on reducing cheating. To this end, GGPoker and GTO Wizard are working together to enhance game security, leading to the immediate banning of 31 accounts for using real-time assistance (RTA).

Online poker is increasingly threatened by AI-based solvers and RTA tools, which provide mathematically optimal decisions during play. Since these tools are often run on separate devices, detecting them is challenging. However, GTO Wizard helps operators identify suspicious activity by analyzing player behavior and betting patterns.

Fedor Holz, GGPoker’s Integrity Ambassador, confirmed that the banned players will not be allowed to participate in WSOP events, in line with the Poker Integrity Council (PIC)'s previous policies.

GTO Wizard continues to collaborate with more operators to ensure fair gameplay. In September 2023, it also introduced the Fair Play Check feature, which allows players to verify whether a specific hand was solved using GTO Wizard in the past seven days and provides the exact timestamp if it was.

If an opponent solved a hand at the exact time it was played, this is clear evidence of RTA usage. The feature is an effective tool in detecting and exposing RTA cheaters.
