The Copenhagen tourney has always been a part of the EPT schedule: Noah Boeken won the tournament in 2005, Mads Andersen in 2006, Magnus Petersson in 2007, Tim Vance in 2008, Jens Kyllönen in 2009, and Anton Wigg defeated the rest last year.
This year, the buy-in for the event was 35,000 + 2250 DKK (around €4,500 + €300), and many pros are taking part, incluing Theo Jorgensen, Annette Obrestad, Kevin Stani, Peter Eastgate (having recently announced to return to poker), Johnny Lodden, Ville Wahlbeck, Allan Baekke, Arnaud Mattern, Pierre Neuville, Scott Montgomery, Ignat ’0Human0’ Liviu and last year’s winner Anton Wigg.
The tourney will abide by the standard structure, players start with 30,000 chips with blinds of 50/100, rising every hour in the qualification period, and every 75 minutes later on. Antes will be introduced at the fifth level.
We wish good luck to all the players battling in Copenhagen!
