Day 2 of WSOP 2013 Event #1 $500 Casino Employees NLHE was all about taking home the bracelet itself with 55 players remaining. Chipleader was Michael Trivett with one of the most recognised players in the field, poker author Chad Holloway in third place (99,400 in chips). Both of them made it to the nine-handed final table, which was led by Bobby Rooney:

Hieu Le - 104.000

In the first hand of the finale, it was folded down to shortstack Hieu Le, who shoved from the SB and got called by Allan Kwong from the BB. Le showed a pair of twos while Kwong had threes and the board came neutral.

Soon, Trivett opened to 27,000 from the Button, Holloway 3-bet to 77,000 from the SB, Trivett 4-bet all-in with about 200,000 in chips and Holloway called.

He doubled up with Q-3s on Holloway and his tens, improving to a flush, but his pocket tens were also cracked a few hands later by Kwong’s A-T and rivered ace.

Allan Kwong – 875,000

Kwong took the lead in the heads-up first but Holloway came back and had the edge in the last hand with 1,600,000 in chips against Kwong’s 1,000,000. Kwong raised to 75,000, Holloway called and the flop came {#}5 {#}Q {#}Q . Holloway checked, Kwong shoved and Holloway snap-called.
