After a record field of 166 entrants for a $100,000+ event, WSOP 2013 Event #47 $111,111 One Drop High Rollers No-Limit Hold'em was unable to crown a champion on Day 3 with four players remaining in play. 108 players survived Day 1 with a large number of poker dignitaries busting out on the way, and only 26 of them could return for Day 3. The $17,891,148 prize pool got distributed among the top 24 finishers, leaving the bubble to burst today.

Play started with Swedish pro Martin Jacobson in the lead (stack: 3,255,000), slightly ahead of 2011 Florida State Poker Championship winner Connor Drinan, who had 3,250,000 in chips. Winner of the Little One High Roller’s counterpart event, WSOP 2012 $1,000,000 Big One, Antonio Esfandiari occupied the 5th place of the chipcount with a stack of 2,970,000.

With the elimination of Haralabos Voulgaris and Yevgeniy Timoshenko, the field reached the money. Playing on, pre-Final Table finishers included Steve Gross (24th), Dan Shak (23rd), Jason Koon (21st), Shaun Deeb (20th), Phil Laak (19th), Andrew Lichtenberger (18th), Daniel Alaei (17th), Mike Sexton (16th), Martin Finger (14th), Matt Glantz (13th), Jeremy Ausmus (12th) and Connor Drinan (11th).

The eight-handed Final Table was formed with the elimination of Olivier Busquet:

Seat 1: Brandon Steven – 2,150,000
Seat 2: Antonio Esfandiari – 11,245,000
Seat 3: Richard Fullerton – 7,315,000
Seat 4: Anthony Gregg – 3,550,000
Seat 5: Chris Klodnicki – 8,775,000
Seat 6: Martin Jacobson – 8,930,000
Seat 7: Nick Schulman – 4,590,000
Seat 8: Bill Perkins – 3,370,000

Esfandiari in the lead, he aimed for his second One Drop title. The first out was Nick Schulman: after losing most of his chips to Bill Perkins early into the finale, he pushed all-in on the {#}T {#}2 {#}K flop with {#}T {#}9 . Richard Fullerton called with {#}A {#}Q and the turn came {#}9 and the river was {#}Q , giving the pot to Fullerton.

Brandon Steven followed, running into Perkins’s A-J two pairs with pocket sixes, and then it was Fullerton’s turn, his trip sixes being cracked by Esfandiari’s set of tens. With Fullerton out in 5th, Day 3 was soon over: Perkins has the chiplead but Esfandiari is also still in play, which means we can take an exciting four-handed game for granted.

Antonio Esfandiari

Bill Perkins - 14.700.000
Anthony Gregg - 13.900.000
Chris Klodnicki - 12.000.000
Antonio Esfandiari - 9.200.000

1st: $4,830,619
2nd: $2,985,495
3rd: $1,965,163
4th: $1,433,438
