Patrik Demus, known online as Patr1ckz, achieved a major milestone in his live poker career by finishing 5th in the $15,000 TLPT Jeju 2025 Main Event, earning $170,000—his biggest cash to date.
A steadily rising Hungarian MTT regular, Patr1ckz is an active member of the RakeRace.com player pool, and has contributed strategy content to the site. While not representing RakeRace at the event, his deep run in one of Asia’s most prestigious tournaments highlights his continued progression on the international poker scene.
From the Middle of the Pack to the Final Table
Patrik entered Day 3 with 2,250,000 chips, ranking 9th among the remaining 15 players. He climbed the leaderboard with solid, confident play, including a memorable hero call with ace-high on a Q-3-6-3-K board to catch Quan Zhou's river bluff with J-T.
Shortly after, he eliminated Zhou in a preflop all-in confrontation—Patrik’s K-K held strong against Zhou’s 7-7, vaulting him into final table contention.

High-Level Folds and Key Pots
Patrik made several impressive laydowns at the final table. In one hand, he flopped top two pair on a K-Q-T all-hearts board, but correctly folded after Stephen Song applied pressure with a turned straight.
Later, Patrik triple-barreled a board of A-T-6-2-K with A-T, only to fold to a big river raise from Song—again showing solid hand-reading and discipline.
Career-Best Score: Patr1ckz Takes 5th for $170,000
Patrik’s run came to an end during Level 28 (150k/300k/300k). After opening to 2.5 million over a UTG raise from James Mendoza, he called off 5.7 million with pocket eights versus Mendoza’s J-J. The board ran out Q-6-9-J-Q, giving Mendoza a full house and eliminating Patrik in 5th place.
This score marks a career-high cash for the Hungarian pro, confirming his status as a steadily rising tournament regular to keep an eye on.
