PokerStars has confirmed the return of the Spin & Go Championships Live, scheduled for August 30–31, 2025, during the final days of EPT Barcelona. The 3-handed shootout-style event features a €275,000 guaranteed prize pool, marking a significant increase from last year’s €100K debut.
The tournament remains invite-only, with all 81 players earning their seats via online qualification. The format blends fast-paced Spin & Go mechanics with a live tournament structure, creating a unique hybrid experience for both amateurs and pros.
Alongside the live event, PokerStars is hosting the Spin & Go Showdown — a streamed online contest where eight brand ambassadors compete in point-based challenges from June 23 to August 3. The series features quirky handicaps like “shove-or-fold only” or “fold every button,” adding entertainment value for fans following the action across Twitch and social media. PokerStars will also give away $3,000 in Spin & Go tickets through these channels.
While the overall format is expected to remain similar to the 2024 Prague edition, minor structural changes are anticipated. Organizers are considering switching from time-based to hand-based blind levels, and a digital mystery bounty could replace the previously live version.
With Spin & Gos continuing to dominate the online space — having originated in 2013 and awarded millions in prizes globally — PokerStars is pushing to bring that same thrill to the live felt.
