After a number of delays, the 4th event of the 2010 World Series of Poker Europe in London finally has a winner: Gus ’The Great Dane’ Hansen, who finally collected his first WSOP golden bracelet ever.

WPT Borgata Poker Open: Dwyte Pilgrim Is the Winner

It seems that Dwyte Pilgrim is none less gifted in poker than his style and talk is original; he has just earned his first major event winning, the WPT Borgata. Largest in the World Poker Tour history with a field of 1,042, beating it is a proof for those regarding him a “minor league grinder” that he definitely stepped up the ladder.

Lisandro Wins WSOPE Event #2

The World Series of Poker rolls on, the second event has already came to its end, which was all about Pot Limit Omaha, in which Jeffrey Lisandro proved to be the best. We already wrote about Event #2, which was won by the 'Unabomber' Phil Laak, scoring his first WSOP victory.

Phil Laak Wins His First Bracelet at WSOPE

The first event came to an end at the WSOP Europe at Day 3, where the recently injured and now recovered Phil Laak won his first WSOP bracelet.

WSOPE 2010 Started

The World Series of Poker Europe begun yesterday with a £2,500+£150 6-max NLHE event at the Casino at the Empire in London. Lasting from 14th to 28th September, the tournament consists of another four events: a £5,000+£250 PLO (16th-18th Sept), a £1,000+£75 NLHE (17th-21st Sept), a £10,000+£350 NLHE High Roller Heads-Up (21st-23rd Sept) and the £10,000+£350 NLHE Main Event (23rd-28th Sept).

The PartyPoker World Open VI. began September 6th, the $10,000 event that took place at the Palm Beach Casino in London featuring 48 poker pros. The tournament ended yesterday so we already have a winner.

Negreanu wins Golf-Poker Championship

Jake Cody Wins WPT London Main Event

The very first WPT London saw the British Jake ‘neverbluff67’ Cody finishing first, proving once again we can talk about something like “The Year of the Brit.” The 21-year-old pro made a huge step towards the coveted Triple Crown of poker, as he also won the EPT Deauville (earning €847,000) in January; there is only a WSOP title to go.

WCOOP Starting This Sunday

This year's World Championship of Online Poker, organized by PokerStars is very close now, it starts on September 5th. Featuring 62 events, it is the biggest online poker championship ever. The event will spread over 23 days, leading up to the $5,200$ Main Event, which starts at 17:00 ET on September 26.

FSN Signs 3-Year Deal With World Poker Tour

Fox Sports Net signed a deal with WPT, so for the next three years FSN will televise the popular poker tour through the 11th season. The new episodes will air on Sunday nights at 8 and 11PM. The show's commentators will be Mike Sexton and Vince Van Patten along with Kimberly Lansing.

Andy Frankenberger Wins WPT Legends of Poker

462 players attended the WPT Legends of Poker Main Event, making the prize pool $2,151,072. The buy-in for the event was $4800+$200, and many famous poker players enrolled in the battle for the first place prize.
